This is a very easy and nice trail. We only logged it on our way back so if you follow it backwards the trail starts next to the Orikum military base and ends at the Church of Marmiroi. There's basically no altitude. We did it in October and there were tons of mosquitoes though (I don't know about the other months).
On your way you will pass the lagoon and you can spot different birds.
That loop at the end of the trail is necessary because there's a marsh surrounding the church and this is the only way to get there.
