A very interesting walk including about half of the coastal path. Wonderful views to the islands and on a clear day to Olympic National Park. Wildlife abounds and in late September we were lucky enough to see hundreds of gathering raptors preparing for their flight across the Juan de Fuca Strait. Best viewed from Beechey head around lunchtime.
The trail is well marked. The inland sections are easy, with a few steep climbs. The coastal section requires sure footedness and occasional scrambling over rocks. A delightful way to spend 4 hours.
