Credit to Shatkins who has previously posted this walk.
We followed his track in reverse.
Thanks to Shawn and fellow walkers from Bush Club.

The route follows graded tracks as far as Echo Point camp and is then 'off track'.
Start along the Border track, take the second Albert Creek track turn-off.
(If you take the first Albert Creek turn you'll end up at Echo Point but via a much longer route).
There is a footpad leading off from Echo Point Camp towards the summit on Mt Worendo, from here it is a relatively straight forward off-track walk through to Lost World.
There is one steep bluff on the Eastern ridge to scramble up with some exposure but it is relatively easy.
There was water at Lost World Creek Camp, and there is a waterfall you can scamper down to for a shower.
The descent off Lost World Plateau to the North-West is difficult to identify from above, and is very exposed. Great care is required here. Tape has been attached to nearby trees for identification.
Follow the footpad until you regain the ridge. It is narrow and exposed but not difficult to negotiate. At a cairn you will need to drop off again to the North to bypass another bluff. Follow the ridge to another bluff where you drop North to Albert River.
This descent is steep but not exposed, there are some bluffs at the creek line so be careful when you make final descent.
After a rest at the river, break through the Lantana on the other bank and slog uphill. The slope becomes increasing steep until you eventually reach the cliffs at the end of the Castle Crag.
Here is another difficult exposed section of walk where you traverse around the cliffs to the West for about 400m to then do a steep scramble up to the Castle Crag track.
From Castle Crag you can follow any of a number of trails back to O'Riellys.
