Mt Miketeebumulgrai is one of the least hiked of all the Glasshouse Mountains. The hike to the top takes about 20 to 25 minutes, if that, i had to take my time on the day as the rocks were very slippery from the rain, the track was barely visible in places and the rocks were very easily moved when you stepped on them, i recommend you go with someone in case you do trip and break something. To get there, from Caboolture, take Beerburrum road and head north, turn into Smiths road and follow that until it changes into Old Gympie road on a curve on the left, a very short distance on your right turn into Alcock Road, eventually it swings right and it turns into Boden Road, follow that to the end and it swings hard left, you are now on King road, follow that until you come to a sign on the right hand side of the road that says, Glass House National Park, Mt Miketeebumulgrai Section. Don't drive too fast along there or you may miss it. There isn't a car park for this mountain. Park opposite the sign, as far off the road as possible, Trucks use this road. The track starts to the right of the sign, it starts off faint but gets clearer the further you go, that is until you get to an open section of rock, keep heading in the same direction you were when you got to this spot and you'll see the track start again, from there follow the track as long as you can see it, it was very hard to find up higher as there had been a bush fire a while back. As long as you're going up you're heading in the right direction. Coming back down was a bit of a nuisance as it was so hard to find the track. The road wouldn't have been a problem to find coming back down this side, i just wanted to get as close to the car as possible when i did eventually emerge. Really didn't need to make a GPS track for this one, but as i said, i wanted to get as close to the car as possible.
