This hike started at the Saturna Vineyard Dock and followed the coastal trail to Turner Point, After lunch we climbed up tto the brown ridge following a goat traverse from the rope section and woodpecker tree , The traverse was a narrow goat trail along a steep grassy slope, angling upwards to the ridge. We left the goat trail to climb more steeply to the ridge trail, climbing past the cabin ant the communications tower on Mt Warburton Pike at 401 m, 1316 ft. We descended on the recently cleared trail following the power line and down past the vineyard to the dock.

We did not complete the full loop. We walked from the Vineyard dock to the Taylor Point Trail. We walked about two thirds of the Taylor Point Trail ( just past the third gate). Then we turned back. We walked about 5 miles (out and back). There were some really nice view spots and the forest portion was nicely lit on a sunny day. Lovely arbutus trees.
