First half is a constant climb up a wadi which is fairly easy going then last bit is very steep and tricky. Going down is slow as a lot of scree so care needed. Last bit easy again.

    We (two athletic girls) attempted this hike in May.

    While the temperature was not on our side, in our opinion, the description given for the hike doesn't do it justice.

    We wouldn't quite consider this a moderate hike.

    The part that we assume is referred to as steep and very tricky is indeed that, but it's actually a large part of the first half of the hike, and not just the end of the first half.
    Definitely not for beginners.
    There is a lot of boulder climbing and scrambling over large rocks and boulders... it takes a lot of concentration and definitely longer than the total time of 3 hours as mentioned.

    A great challenge, but maybe with a little more experience and cooler weather!

    Did this hike with my 15yo son and our 13yo neighbor. Didn’t get a lot of smiles of them for picking this hike as the description made it look easier than it actually was. We finished the hike in just over 4 hours. Kept them going by promising McDonalds on the way home...
    Bring good shoes and plenty of water.

    The climb to the top is taking a lot of time as there is a lot of climbing stones involved. Going down at the other side is tricky for the first half of the descent, afterwards it gets easier.

    All in all it was a good - pretty challenging - workout. Don’t do this route as your first hike.

    Scenery is ok.
