The difficulty is really out of expectation because it is not really that high. You really need to climb. There are ropes on the way. The stones are special in this area. I was with an experienced hiker or I couldn't have made it. Again, we tried to follow this path from the official website::https://www.welcomekyushu.com/kyushuolle/?mode=detail&id=9
but we really couldn't find the way after Zenganzan. We ended up somewhere that we had to walk 4 kilometers back. Luckily we found a taxi in some very remote area, which was just out of luck.
At Zenganzan, you can have a 360 view of the area. I felt like Pulpit Rock (Preikstolen) in Norway there. There was no other people and we could enjoy the place to ourselves.
Most of the time I didn't "walk" down, but just sat and slid down. There are bushes on the way, mind your trousers.
