Itinerary description
This easy stroll goes around Zamalek/Gezira Island as close to the Nile as possible. You will pass many embassies, cultural institutions and the famous Al Ahly football club. Zamalek is the old posh neighborhood of Cairo but has lost ground to modern suburbs in the last few decades. Lots of restaurants and cafés on the route.
