Itinerary description
Wonderful walk in great and peaceful surroundings, just south of Ermelo in the province of Gelderland.
Easy walk along good hiking trails and offering a variety of wooded areas and open areas.
The highlight is, obviously, the well maintained estate of Oud Groevenbeek with its villa (dating back to 1908), the farmstead, the grapes greenhouse etc., a beautiful area for hikers and cyclists despite the fact that it is not really extensive. That's why this walk was extended to pass through the neighbouring fields, heathland and woods.
The info panel (see photo) by Natuurmonumenten shows a good map of the estate and surrounding area and indicates 2 signposted trails.

Wij hebben vandaag 06-10-2021 deze route gelopen, wel iets meer een rondwandeling van gemaakt in plaats van een acht model op de kaart en gestart uit Ermelo, mooie omgeving.
Voor ons belangrijk de hond mag mee loslopend op de hei en aangelijnd in het bos.
Heel erg mooi gebied ! Met plezier daar gewandeld vandaag (13-7-25). Echter, hier en daar was een pad overwoekerd of domweg door een particulier afgesloten. Mag niet zomaar denk ik, maar had geen zin in discussies. We hebben de afstand ingekort. Vandaag liepen we wat moeizaam. We gaan hem in de herfst overdoen. Prachtig gebied !!!!
