Itinerary description
Philippines, Co. Ifugao, Batad (tiny spectacular village in proximity of Banaue built on riceterraces).
It was a daily tour in Batad, we took a local nimble-footed filipino guide from the Hotel. First we walked down to a waterfall along the riceterraces on the edge of the retaining walls. From there we cimbed up back to the heart of the village, we cross the local houses and gardens, then again descend to a valley to a cable bridge. From our last breath we were guided back to the Hotel on a shortcut. Wonderful tour it was in a company of helpful and cheerful local habitats.
When you arrive to Batad, it is easy to get this kind of guided tour, the guides will look for the new arrivals.
